Dr.’s Check Up February 16, 2007
Posted by Liz in : Baby, General , 2 commentsWell last week we had our first Dr.’s appointment and got to meet Dr. Jennifer Wagner. She is really a nice and personable Dr. and we are really glad that Jamie recommended her to us.
The visit went well other then they weren’t happy with Sean’s weight gain. He needed to be back up to his birth weight of 9 pounds 7 ounces and he fell one ounce short of that. We were given a few more things to watch but nothing major.
First Visit: 21.5 inches 9 pounds 6 ounces
Today Sean and I went back to visit Dr. Wagner and all went really well. Sean had gained the weight they wanted him to plus some putting him in the 90 percent tile for his age. Of course I do think the little guy did cheat a little, as he waited to poop till just after they weighed him. But yes, he’s one big baby… playing hockey with his cousin Andruw could very well be in his future. We were given the thumbs up and told we don’t have to come back till his one month check-up.
Second Visit: 21.5 inches 9 pounds 14 ounces
